Its never too late to forgive anybody, not too late until you realize that person doesn't exist anymore..

And when that person happens to be your best friend, it hurts even more.. !!

Days have passed, but your memories are gonna remain forever..

To all those times of fun we've shared, all those secrets, the fights, the tears, the book hunting we used to go on, the combined studies which ended up in gossip sessions, the praises we got from our lecturers, the punishments we've shared for bunking classes, the movies we'd watched together and to all those unforgetable memories you've left me with !!

I know I was too busy, caught up with my own life,
couldn't be around when you needed me,
I've forgiven you for everything, and I pray wherever you are,
You live in peace !!

But I am never gonna forgive you for leaving abruptly..

But then its not your mistake, coz Life surely is Unpredictable.. !!

Responsibility is fun at times, :)
but at most times hectic and tiring.. :(
Your mind is never at rest, even while sleeping.. :p

I wanna be a kid again.. !! :((
want people to pamper me, gimme lots of choclates and just laze around.. :d
be my dad's lil girl again.. :D:D

*sigh*.. but this is just a dream.. :)
can never go back to being a kid of 2-3 years.. :p
but sure can behave and pretend to be one.. :D:D

Goodbye To Innocence..

I still remember the time when I was a pesky little kid, going to school, cribbing over home-works, trying hard to keep up with things, time-tables, sports classes, dance sessions and spiritual learning.. There were times when I used to ponder over "how life would be 10 years down the line" !! Was eager to grow-up, take up responsibilities, work,earn and achieve something in life.. lol..

The innocence, the dreamy eyes, those un-blemished years are a memory worth treasuring.. :)
Those wonder years of fooling around, healthy competition, classroom fun, uniforms, unbiased talks, bunking classes, saving pocket money, buying gifts for people, celebrating birthdays, life was filled with friends, books, school, home, occasional scoldings from mom, on the verge of adulthood, unaware of the cruel ways of the world.. "Ignorance is Bliss", how very true the statement sounds today.. :)

But now, life is almost nearing those anticipated 10 years, and I realize that childhood is the best phase in every person's life. And looking back, somewhere the innocence of childhood has been lost.. Once in the world to tend for yourself, its the survial of the fittest, the more shrewd you are, the easier it is for you to survie.. Back-biting, lies, compromising your thoughts, killing your dreams, giving up on memories you've cherished, bitter feelings, lack of trust and what not !! Surrounded by such negative feelings, people tend to get hyper at times, frustration and the lack of expression can have a very bad effect on people..

You need to change along with situations, whether you like it or not.. And so have I, changed with times and similarly there have been times when I wish a few things could be changed, but unfortunately nothing can be done about it.. Past being past, can only be learnt from.. The biggest lesson I've learnt is never let go of memories, they are the only source to keep you together from falling apart in difficult times.. Friends made early in life, truly are the friends who are gonna support you unconditionally forever..

Nothing of it is related, and nothing much of it makes sense also, but still wanted to write coz somehow I find peace with it.. !!

Abuse !!!

There have been a lots of issues of late which have got me thinking.. Numerous posts coming up in the neear future which am gonna write about.And whatever I am putting across are my views and opinions,having been a witness to many incidents and a few from my own experiences..

This post deals with verbal abuse, what I feel about it and what should be done about it..

Verbal abuse falls into many categories, including:

Abusive anger: He would blow up at you.

Criticizing: He made derogatory comments about your weight and figure.

Name-calling: He called you a liar and a hypocrite.

Threatening: He taunted you about his leaving and liking other women.

Blaming: He told you his behavior was your fault.

And these categories are just to name a few.There have been lots of cases where women talk about physical abuse.But nobody talks about verbal abuse, which is the worst form of abuse ever.

When abused physically, the wounds may heal with time. But in verbal abuse, wounds never heal. They leave behind a scar, which can only be felt by the person. A woman when abused verbally, loses self confidence, self-respect and also her value as a person.

More often than not, its not just uneducated women but also literate women who tolerate all the abuse.
Why dont educated women speak against it ?? Is'nt there any law that can protect a woman from verbal abuse ??? Women should come out and talk about it, and only then can there be a solution to it. The guilty must be punished, be it either in the case of physical abuse or verbal abuse.

And someday I definately would want to do something about it, and would be happy if I can bring about a change in the way people think.

Lazy Bug.. !!

Alrite, yeah I know its been a while since I've updated the blog.. :)

People who know me, will understand and agree when I say, I've been lazy not to write.. :P

As of now have updated the layout of the blog and now it looks a bit like me -- " Lively and full of life." :D:D

Lots of thots to be expressed, trying to get rid of the Lazy Bug within me.. :)

But in the meantime, do lemme know how do u like the new *look* ;)

" Are you in love with somebody ?? "

For the last year and a half, I've heard these questions atleast a million times and I always say " donno " ....

The easiest way to escape questions.. and more questions... And at most times these questions actually leave me thinking about what am I looking for in the person I intend to live my life with...

And when I started the count for the *must be and should be 's *, I found that I was dreaming for the unattainable, but I did somehow manage to shortlist all this... :d

He should understand me without words , love unconditionally, trust me, should be * INTELLIGENT *, somebody with whom I can actually TALK and not THINK about what to talk, somebody who respects and loves me the way I am and not expect me to change my individuality for him...

In short, someone who is intelligent, smart, positive, confident, caring, who can always keep me entertained(a very difficult job- i get bored easily!), has an awesome sense of humour,who can accept me for who i am and is completely honest with me always !!!

And its not just difficult but nearly impossible to find a person with all the above mentioned qualities.. So I've decided not to trouble my peanut brains anymore.. :)

As of now... I absolutely love the way I am, and the independent life I live, very happy and satisfied giving all my time to my family and friends.. Nobody to answer, noone to question, no arguments, no ego hassles, no domination, no misunderstandings, no tears, no fears, no insecurities, no sleepless nights...

Life is actually very very peaceful without the word " LOVE "....

The constant flow of questions continues, but now I dont even bother to answer anybody anymore... and no, I am not "LOOKING FOR ANY GUYS "... !!!

A New Dawn...
A New Beginning...
but its the same old ME...
coz Life goes on and so do We....

Who am I ----- A Typical Piscean, a daydreamer whose absolutely lazy, love my family, rain, mangoes, dogs, life, coffee , music, people, books, photography....

What keeps me going ------ love to read...any book that can keep me interested.. tht cud be anything from tinkle to danielle steel, from reader's digest to sidney sheldon.. ,also do paint and that is'nt about painting the walls... , live music.. coz music helps me survive, am pretty fine at putting my thoughts into words... and thats the only force which keeps me at blogging....

Live life on my own terms.. no conditions but lots of complications, no boundaries for my imagination and creativity but yet to determine the passion that keeps them alive... !!!

Guess thats just about me...
