Goodbye To Innocence..

I still remember the time when I was a pesky little kid, going to school, cribbing over home-works, trying hard to keep up with things, time-tables, sports classes, dance sessions and spiritual learning.. There were times when I used to ponder over "how life would be 10 years down the line" !! Was eager to grow-up, take up responsibilities, work,earn and achieve something in life.. lol..

The innocence, the dreamy eyes, those un-blemished years are a memory worth treasuring.. :)
Those wonder years of fooling around, healthy competition, classroom fun, uniforms, unbiased talks, bunking classes, saving pocket money, buying gifts for people, celebrating birthdays, life was filled with friends, books, school, home, occasional scoldings from mom, on the verge of adulthood, unaware of the cruel ways of the world.. "Ignorance is Bliss", how very true the statement sounds today.. :)

But now, life is almost nearing those anticipated 10 years, and I realize that childhood is the best phase in every person's life. And looking back, somewhere the innocence of childhood has been lost.. Once in the world to tend for yourself, its the survial of the fittest, the more shrewd you are, the easier it is for you to survie.. Back-biting, lies, compromising your thoughts, killing your dreams, giving up on memories you've cherished, bitter feelings, lack of trust and what not !! Surrounded by such negative feelings, people tend to get hyper at times, frustration and the lack of expression can have a very bad effect on people..

You need to change along with situations, whether you like it or not.. And so have I, changed with times and similarly there have been times when I wish a few things could be changed, but unfortunately nothing can be done about it.. Past being past, can only be learnt from.. The biggest lesson I've learnt is never let go of memories, they are the only source to keep you together from falling apart in difficult times.. Friends made early in life, truly are the friends who are gonna support you unconditionally forever..

Nothing of it is related, and nothing much of it makes sense also, but still wanted to write coz somehow I find peace with it.. !!
